Beautiful snake…… he was sunbathing on the mower but luckily he didn’t stay long, so I was able to mow the grass over the weekend. It needed it so bad after the continuous rain over the last two weeks.

Got something done today that I absolutely hate doing….. plumbing repair and some maintenance. Put the new stainless supply line on the kitchen sink, replaced an old toilet supply line with a stainless one, and tightened the screw on the shower valve underneath the handle before that caused a problem. 😬

The day started out with a bang…. or should I say a “whoosh” because the hose blew off from under my kitchen sink while I was still in bed. I panicked so much that I completely forgot about the shut off valves under the sink. I couldn’t tell what happened but all I knew is it was raining when I opened the cabinet doors lol. So I ran all the way out to my meter, which is 400 feet from my front door (after throwing on some pants). Not remembering which one it was, I frantically dug around in the leaves looking for the meter. I found two meters and shut them both off. Then hoped one of them was it as I walked back to the house. It was! I messaged my boss and told her I would definitely be late. Then I spent the next 2 hours mopping the water up from the living room, kitchen, and the part of the bedroom where it reached the carpet. Needless to say, it was a rough start to the day. Stainless is definitely the way to go, if I knew that was plastic inside there, I would have changed it a long time ago.

Mower update. Replaced carb, fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs, and air filter. Then a new battery. Now after checking to see if it’s getting any fire, it’s not. New coils are going to be ordered next and if that doesn’t work I might light the damn thing on fire and just push mow from now on 🤣

The good luck continues lol. I got the back acre mowed with the riding mower and then it started doing what it did last year….. stalling out with blades engaged. Back to the best present a fan ever gave me….. my trusty little push mower 🥰 I changed the oil in her this morning before putting her through an acre of hellish mowing. Got a blister on my pinky toe to boot. Hooray!! About to have to buy another $150 worth of parts and see if I can get the rider going again in the next two weeks. Donations to the cause are always welcome 😘

Truck update: changed the leak detection sensor and got rid of the “check gas cap” light. Still have p0440 and p0452 codes I’m sure. I changed the vapor canister purge valve last year, so it will probably be the last thing I change again unless you guys think it went out again.

Update on the ex from his boss…… probably former boss now, but still…… he is back in the hospital with an infection in the foot they did surgery on and put three rods into the bone. I would not be surprised if he loses his foot at this point or maybe worse. Mixed feelings on it.
