I've had a very complex relationship with my hair ever since I was four and got mistaken for a boy and got a toy car from one of my parent's friends. Ever since then, I had long or longish hair. I've been obsessed with it. I identified with it. I played with it all the time. I had good hair. I thought the only way I would ever have short hair again was if hell froze over. Well, it's cold somewhere. I'm also impulsive. And a perfectionist. If I see one little strand that's out of place, it will drive me nuts until I trim it off. And the cycle continues. The other day, I was over it, and I just buzzed off the rest of it. I'll have long hair again sometime. Meanwhile, I really like the shape of my head. It's nice.
