My very first self portraits with my new camera. I'm used to posing in front of my phone and seeing what I look like so this is a bit of a change for me but practice makes perfect and I'm loving the quality. Excited to play around more. Shot on Sony A6400 with a 50mm f/1.8 lense. It's great for a portrait, but for more fully body shots would a 35mm be better? Thoughts?

In real time, this video was still originally only about 3 and a half minutes- such a quick and easy style! Anyone can do this style! Olaplex oil for heat protection (water soluble silicones in the oil protect the hair without the build up non-professional silicone in product can cause as they dissolve as soon as water hits it-pretty cool imo!), Hot Tools Triple Barrel Deep Waver, some random sections, and a little Pulp Riot texture spray is all you need! Happy New Year's Eve! I've never been a huge NYE person, mostly just would go to house parties and as I got older, I pretty much just like to drink some champagne and cook an amazing meal. This year I'm at the salon until about 6pm, so no fancy meal. I'll make a charcuterie board and some bruschetta and have a snack dinner! What are your plans for the night? @yrfatfriend on IG has been a huge huge game changer for me in the way I view my own body as well as fat politics, and now I own her book! Just picked this baby up from Barnes and noble and can't wait to dive in! Also grabbed the new Chuck Palahniuk book to check out. I have read any of his books in ages but he's been one of my favorite authors since I was about 15. I actually saw him speak when Invisible Monsters came out at a nearby college, and caught a fake severed leg he threw out into the audience. I have a picture with him where I'm holding a wedding bouquet and wearing a veil 😅😅 he's a strange guy! If I can find that picture, I'll post it. As far as I know it only was ever posted on MySpace (showing my age here yikes 🤣) and it currently can't load the picture 😭😭 but I did post the leg I caught!
