Wanted to share a little bts from a shoot for an e-commerce client of mine. Lighting is SOOO important when you are shooting in a studio. Don’t be afraid to mess with your lights by moving them closer and further from your subject until you find the setting you like. For example, if your subject is sitting you’ll want to lower your lights and pull them back a bit so that your lighting is even. Would you guys like to learn more about my set up and equipment that I personally use?

A little bts from my shoot with @yogawithtaz ✨ When the subject is moving, you should opt for faster shutter speeds. I recommend using a shutter speed that is at least 1/500th of a second or higher. Keep in mind that fast shutter speeds may result in underexposed photographs (aka darker) because it limits the amount of light that comes into your image sensors. You can counteract with your aperture by choosing a low f-spot which will allow more light in to balance out the loss of light from using a higher shutter speed. 🌼 https://onlyfans.com/yogawithtaz

I’ve mentioned in a previous post how mirrors can be a very useful prop during shoots. I wanted to share some examples of how I’ve personally used mirrors in the outdoors to elevate my photos and add dimension / depth. These photos were shot during off season in some poppy fields. Since the flowers weren’t in full bloom the mirrors really helped to make the shots look stronger. Hope y’all enjoy these ☺️

Sometimes you have to get a little dirty to hit them angles 📸 Get low to the ground while angling the camera upwards at your model to make their legs appear longer. A great trick if you want to add height to your subject! Highly recommend a wide angle lens when trying this ☺️

Wanted to share a little trick that I use when styling shoots today! An easy way to elevate an outfit is by contrasting two different colors of the same shoe. Not everything happens on purpose! That’s the beauty of art. I stumbled upon this trick on accident! I was trying on my outfit before the photographer met up with me and was deciding which thigh high boot I wanted to wear and then realized they looked dope together. I now carry this over even into my daily style when I want to rock a colorful fit ❤️🖤

Many of you have asked about my camera set up so I wanted to share with you what I typically gear up with for a lifestyle or fashion shoot: Camera body: Canon 5d Mark iii Lens: 24-105 mm (My favorite wide angle lens to shoot with) Strap: Custom Galaxy Strap by Country Eyes Ocean Heart Reflector: Westcott Handheld 22” As weird as it may sound, my strap plays a huge part in my comfort and mobility as I shoot. Canon bodies can be quite heavy so having a wide band like this one is a massive help!
