I’m sharing this because skin conditions are very common yet the media tries to edit them out because they’re seen as “flaws.” When I was nineteen I had a condition called guttate psoriasis from a streptococcus infection that left me with discoloured areas of skin due to scarring. They have lightened due to the sun and some are hardly noticeable now, but I felt so insecure about it when I was younger. Perfection is overrated! 🥰
