I was today years old when I learned that OF had a feature where you can go live and stream. I thinks it's a beta feature and I didn't have it when I started so I'm interested in trying it out. If I were to try it out this weekend what time would you be most likely to watch? I also have zero clue what I'm doing or how it works. Incoming- small venting sesh and then a question for ya'll if youre comfortable answering
I am big frustrated. I love the OF interface so much but it has so many technical issues. Especially for a platform that takes more than triple, sometimes quadruple the amount from its creators earnings compared to similar platforms. I know it's a growing pains issue and I'm so happy that more people are using OF but I feel like theres always something glitching out. I haven't been able to comment on my photos for days now and I hate that. Interacting with yall makes this platform way more fun and feel more like social media to me so its very irritating to want to respond and answer questions and not being able to. I just wanted to let yall know that I promise I'm not ignoring your nice comments and questions.
Also, for the troupers still reading, I wanted to pose a question to you because I've been kinda stuck in a loop thinking about it. So, i dont know if this is a contentious thing to say or not, but the majority of my social media feed is advertisements, mostly for joining peoples patreons or OFs. And that's not a dig at creators, I include my own posts in that assessment. So as people who use OF and also maybe patreon, what cuts through the noise for you? When you see 50 ads for content a day, and countless per month, what makes you care more about one post or set or creator more than another?
Sometimes I feel super overwhelmed by the sheer volume of content thats available and I'm not even really on the consumer end of things. I considered asking this on twitter but 1. I was afraid that it may be viewed as me taking a shot at other creators for "advertising too much" and I really don't mean it that way and 2. I feel like most of the people who would respond might not even be on OF or patreon so it's not a great sample group. I want to preemptively thank anyone who comments on this and gives me some good insight because I won't be able to respond to you directly. And even if you don't feel like commenting, thanks for reading this far. Ya'll are cool
