~new camera alert~announcement~ I was surprised recently with my absolute dream camera being gifted to me by one of my dear friends here/on mfc - sweet_woody :) it’s a huge honour to be gifted this from someone who I respect soooo much and who has watched me grow in this space and I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you, again. truly. If you know me, you know I love gear and nerd-ing out/perfecting my craft and I have BIG dreams / always want to challenge myself. I’ve been coveting having a second camera so that I can make better videos (multiple angles..) as well as having a camera that shoots proper photos (my current camera only does video (which i then turn into stills...)) so this is HUGE for me. I also have been toying with some personal doc projects outside of OF and this is a huge boost to my workflow/project realizations. I’m super excited to learn more about “proper” photography through it and to have a better travel documentary camera with me for porn and more ! I really think I can also make some insane streams with this too (double cam shows…). So so excited to share what I make with you guys. and thank you again woody for gifting me an incredible tool for my craft <3 ~on care~ I never realized how being cared for in a direct response to who I am and what I put out would fulfill a part of me so deeply. I really love being supported and cared for or even “spoiled” as some people would say but to be honest I don’t connect with that word since I feel like what I put out can be limitless in value and so I just like intuitive exchanges of energy and care. It’s a pleasure living with items you guys have gifted me or experiences I’ve been able to acquire for myself through your support here/mfc (trips, living by myself in my studio, dinner, manicures, massages..etc) And the possibility for more (film projects, building a artist cabin, more travel, more gear). I love when you guys are just as hungry for me to grow and experience the world, expand my craft and also indulge in self care, as I am. Indulging and caring for myself when it’s so strongly backed by someone else just feels extra good. Same with pursuing my passions and dreams. It’s nice to feel like I am not alone in enjoying that and it allows me to fully relax and soak up the experience. I’m a very independent person in a lot of ways and I have a hard time asking for what I need but I’ve really learned how much I loveeeeee being taken care of and cared for in the last two years from this. I love it. I loveeeee it so much. It feels soooooo good. I can’t describe it. Like truly. So thank you for caring for me and continuing to care. Because I care deeply about you too <3
