Testing out the orthodontic spacers before fitting them on Amy some time this week. She wants them left on for at least 24 hours so she can feel the discomfort. Will have a video for you guys at the weekend. 😉 🦷

I did need a small ultrasonic scale on my front teeth at the bottom which was awful ! 🤣 Next appointment, 6 months. If anyone can make sense of what the dentist is saying please leave a comment 😊

I think her small composite in her upper left pre molar threw many people off. Check her charting video and you’ll see it. Purchased some orthodontic spacers so they will feature in a video some time in the near future. For anyone that’s had braces you’ll know these can be quite uncomfortable. But Amy is looking forward to having them temporarily fitted!

I think next time we will try with a few more restraints. One at the hips to ensure absolutely no wriggling in the chair. Maybe one loosely around the neck? And a full wide one that wraps around her legs and the chair. Leaving her at the full mercy of the dentist.

Amy turns up to her appointment 15 minutes late. She was scheduled in for 15:15. The dentist noted that this is the second time in a row she has turned up later than supposed. He lays her back for what was meant to be just a standard, routine checkup. The time 15:30. Just 12 minutes later amy is fully bibbed up, with tinted protective glasses on, light shining down and Awaiting what the dentist said is going to be a root canal. Is this a punishment for being late again? Maybe this will teach her to keep her time a little better 😉

Amy lies back into the dental chair, still in its upright position, Staring at the ceiling. The bib has been placed around her neck and the tools laid out in front of her so she can see it all. The dentist leaves the room and lets her mind fester about all the scenarios that could play out today. Does she have cavities? Is the niggling pain in her lower molar something more sinister? She’s about to find out!
