Amy lies in the chair. Chest and arms fully restricted. Dental bib sprawled across her chest. Dark tinted safety glasses with her mouth spread wide from the molt gag. The dentist hasn’t told her the procedure but she can hear what sounds like a syringe getting loaded behind her. ITS AN INFECTION. Amy hates injections but she fears her worst nightmare is about to come true!

Nurse amy missed her last few checkups due to covid. The clinic is back open now and we have had a cancellation so in the chair she goes. Still in her gloves and the shoes are off. Making her self nice and comfortable. I have a suspicion she might be in there longer than she thinks.

Today we used a larger cheek retractor than was necessary just so our patient was a little more uncomfortable than they should be during her polishing. Maybe it will teach her to brush a little better.
