👻 Some creepy pics from the hostel! We arrived in Bangkok for a few days and stayed at a hostel. I've never stayed in hostels before, only hotels. The difference here is that instead of a large room with a big bed, there's one room with separate cubicles, each with a small bed for one person, similar to train berths. There are a total of 6 such cubicles in one room, plus a shared shower and toilet. The coolest thing, in my opinion, is the stairs to the second floor and the window in the bathroom. Also, we were lucky; there were only three of us in the room, and the other three beds on the second floor were empty. Overall, it's mostly comfortable, but the main downside is the lack of a proper air conditioner. "Friend" sounds more like a guy, and "girlfriend" already implies something romantic. There's also the word "bestie," but that's more like a best friend. I'm a bit confused, lol.

I'm in Bangkok today!! Yes! My first impressions: 1. Wow, is this a real city??? With modern skyscrapers and busy crowds? 2. Even though it's mostly a city, it's so contrasting. You go up an escalator, and on the right, there are glass skyscrapers, while on the left behind a fence, you see these typical for some parts of Thailand charming ruins. 3. It's fascinating to observe people on the streets. Many interesting and stylish outfits that I can't help but admire. Different from Moscow, almost everyone strolls around in slippers, it’s so funny to see. We just arrived today. Met our friends at the airport, traveled to the city center, then to the hostel. Checked in, took a rest, had a meal at a local café, strolled through the night market and aesthetic Asian streets. Now relaxing in the room again. What can I say? It's cool here.
